A boy befriends a dolphin whose tail is damaged in a crab trap. He enlists some friends in creating a prosthetic tail for his flippered friend. The family-friendly film that is based on a true story stars Harry Connick Jr., Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman. Scenes were filmed at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, the Pinellas Technical Education Centers and Admiral Farragut Academy.
